WHAT HAPPENED?
Per The Athletic's David Ornstein, Arsenal are seriously considering parting ways with Ramsdale before the ongoing summer transfer window closes as they have reportedly received a tempting offer from fellow Premier League club Wolves. Wolves are offering an initial loan move for the England international with an obligation to buy next season and are willing to cover the majority of the player's wages during the 2024-25 campaign.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
The Gunners had earlier rejected a loan bid from Dutch giants Ajax as they did not want to let him leave temporarily. Southampton too had shown interest in the custodian earlier in the summer. Ramdale's existing contract with the north London club expires in 2026 and also has a clause to extend by 12 months.

DID YOU KNOW?
Arsenal had shown interest in Wolves goalkeeper Dan Bentley as backup for David Raya, however, it is unclear if the two clubs will try to include Bentley in the Ramsdale deal.
